Why I would choose Jody as my doula! Jody was a positive encouragement to me from the very first time we talked. She is welcoming, knowledgeable and eager to help. She checked on me many times throughout my pregnancy and provided peaceful words when I was doubtful. She was encouraging me the whole through. When it came time to give birth she never left my side. She setup the room to be calming and peaceful with oils, candles, blankets and such. Anytime I needed her she was there helping me without me having to ask. She knew what I needed in my moments of weakness more than I did. Not only did she physically and mentally help me, she was a voice of reason for my husband too. As a first time mom giving birth she made my experience a lot less stressful. She sat with me while I cried and encouraged me, she stayed in uncomfortable positions for minutes on end to make sure I was comfortable. She made sure I was hydrated and fed. If you’re hesitant about using a doula, don’t be! Jody is the absolute sweetest, she guides you through the whole process! She answered any questions I had and supported me and my birth plan. My husband and I had such a great experience with Jody during our sweet son’s birth. I truly feel like there would have been a different outcome had we not chosen to work with a doula! She is so knowledgeable and made my birth so peaceful, she was there every step of the way, guiding and supporting my husband as well. She will advocate for you! I could go on and on about Jody! We highly recommend!!!

Jody was wonderful, and we are so grateful we hired her as our doula. My labor did not go as planned one bit, and I couldn’t imagine having gone through the process without her. I had a 32 hour labor and didn’t get an epidural until the very end. Jody was integral to helping with hip squeezes and pain management along with my hubby- this was helpful to him as well! Hiring Jody was truly one of the best decisions we made, and I’m so thankful we had her by our side. Jody was an amazing coach to guide me through labor. I literally could not have done it without her and am so thankful she was by my side to navigate the birth of my first baby. Not only did she coach me through the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also provided comfort and was exactly what I needed to overcome the fear and struggles of child birth.

Jody has great energy and anything that was needed to ease my labor she did. I was in labor for just over 26 hours and she was there the entire time to help with anything I asked of her....truly grateful for her. 🤍

My labor started in the afternoon. After a couple of hours wondering if I was in labor or not, I called Jody to see what she thought. Once labor picked up Jody was there by my side. She followed me around with my speaker playing affirmations and reassuring me of how strong I was. She kept my water full and made me a lite snack . As I laid over my yoga ball, she massaged my back and offered quiet and loving reassurances. We got to the birth center and Jody supported me in the same ways. She recommended I get in a warm shower. That was amazing and calmed me greatly. When pushing came, I got in the tub and asked Jody to pray. She said the most comforting and heartfelt prayer and we brought our baby into the world. My husband was very comfortable with her and appreciated her help so much. Our birth experience was amazing and we are so grateful for the experience that she helped us have. I highly recommend Jody and will definitely be using her with my next baby!”
